Distribution of Sewing Machines
The Rotary Club of Madras Northwest generously donated sewing machines to 25 disadvantaged women, empowering them to earn a livelihood. Rtn.AMPA, serving as the Chief Guest, encouraged the recipients to utilize the machines effectively, improve their lives, and contribute positively to their communities. The beneficiaries expressed their commitment to this endeavor. Dr. Venkataramana, Vocational Service Director, was the man behind this project who initiated the project, and deserves special recognition for sponsoring all the 25 machines. Swarna played a pivotal role in overseeing the entire project, from liaising with the academy to interviewing beneficiaries and organizing the event, demonstrating her unwavering dedication.
