Annettes Club HEALTH TALK S4 - ENDOMETRIOSIS
Annettes Club of Chennai Bharathi, in association with Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, executed the health talk series four grandly. On March 24, 2024, they hosted a virtual series on the most needed topic *ENDOMETRIOSIS ? DO NOT SUFFER IN SILENCE*.
The session began with a collaring of the presidents, a welcome address by Annette Akhil Srinivas, the president of Annettes Club, and a power-packed knowledge-gaining session by Dr. Anshu Bansal from Apollos First Med Hospital.
She enlightened beautifully on the topic, giving details about the causes, prevention, and caution to be exercised. She stated that endometriosis is not curable, but if diagnosed at an early stage, it can help reduce the intensity of the disease, as it is excruciating if a person is affected by it. She also mentioned that the younger generation needs to be educated appropriately for a healthy relationship to be fostered.
