Hygiene and Village Mela
The Rotary Club of Madras North CS-WASH initiative which took off on October 1st, 2023 in collaboration with SIFEL NGO, has conducted a total of 17 hygiene mela programmes this month across three states (Tamilnadu, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh), all for the poorest of the poor and for prisoners in all 3 jails (Central Prisons 1, 2, and Special Prison for Women) of Tamilnadus largest central prison at Puzhal.
All these villages and jails would be recurring projects, with
programmes being implemented consistently on a monthly basis.
