The Club lauched their polio campaign by recognising a Polio Survivor and Warrior for his achievements in field of sports.
Rotary is known to eradicate polio. It was a moment of pride for us to have a polio survivor who is an athlete achiever. The club conferred Mr. Eswanthrao *THE OUTSTANDING SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD* for his achievements despite the challenges.
Yet another special awardee was Mr. Gowtham. He has the challenge of an unknown dwarfism, which has no cure. Commuting alone is a big challenge; he finds standing for a long time very tough. Despite all this, he completed his graduation and is now employed at HCL. *He was the brain behind designing all the banners for *ODI VILAIYADU*. The club conferred him the *Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award*.
