Distribution of Solar Lamps and Mats
Senneri Village is a small hamlet located in the main road en route to Chengalpattu - Thirupporur Main Road, wherein around fifty veduvar families live in hutments. There are no basic facilities like electricity, water, street lights etc. Since there was no electricity in the village, the club donated solar powered lights to 23 families. Further the club donated mats to all the 45 families.. The people of Senneri Village expressed their happiness and gratitude; they further said that so far no one had come to their location and celebrated Pongal like this..
