ODI VILAIYADU PARALYMPICS
ODI VILAIYADU PARALYMPICS held at YMCA grounds on 17th February 2024, was an amazing success with 750 entries and 1800 persons present for the event! It was a proud day for the District DEI Team as we were part of this mega event alongwith the lead club Rotary Club of Chennai Bharathi with the support of Rotary Club of Plainsboro, North & South Brunswick, USA and participant clubs. Kudos to President Rtn. Dr. Jayashree Kadambi who coordinated this mammoth effort with Hope Foundation and numerous Special Education institutions and made it happen. Kauvery Hospitals and Prime Indian Hospitals were the Health and Physio Sponsors and supported the special athletes with physio support and a free medical camp too. The 100 odd student volunteers from YMCA did a stellar job conducting all the events smoothly. Volunteers from ISSM Business school manned the Registration desks efficiently with their laptops.
