BLS -CPR Series 15 - Stella Maris College
Annettes Club Chennai Bharathi yet again executed the fifteenth series of *TIME TO SAVE LIVES* in collaboration with Kauvery Hospital on February 7, 2024, at *STELLA MARIS COLLEGE FOR WOMEN*.
The session included techniques for essential life support, first aid techniques for burns, snake bites, etc. Dr. Pragadish from the emergency department excellently explained the methods while the paramedics gave a live demo. They also demonstrated rescue techniques for choking, seizures, etc. Dr. Pragadish explained the difference between heart attack and cardiac arrest. One hundred fifty students received this interactive session well. This was followed by a tour of the ambulance, where students could look at the equipment used during an emergency inside the ambulance. The paramedics explained the use of each equipment. It was a great learning experience.
