ODI VILAYADU - Paralympic Sports Meet
To create more awareness around children and young adults with learning disabilities and promote paralympic sports, the Rotary Club of Chennai Bharathi, under the leadership of PRESIDENT RTN. DR. JAYASHREE KADAMBI, in association with participating clubs organized the *ODI VILAIYADU ? MULTI DISTRICT PARALYMPIC SPORTS MEET* on February? 17, 2024 at YMCA, NANDANAM. This sports meet was inaugurated with the welcome address of the Rotary Club president of Chennai Bharathi, Rtn?Dr. Jayashree Kadambi, followed by the address of chief guest MP ( MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT) DR. KALANIDHI VEERASWAMY AND DISTRICT GOVERNOR AKS. RTN. RAVI RAMAN.
The YMCA GROUND saw a crowd of 1800 people - 700 student participants . In the evening, Dr. H.V. Hande ( former health minister of Tamil Nadu). Mr. V. Nandakumar, IRS, and Dr. Deva Kirubagaran, the chief guests for the valedictory ceremony, distributed the prizes to all the winners.*
