RENOVATING ANNA FATHIMA CHILD ORPHANAGE
The Rotary Club of Chennai ECR has associated themselves to an orphanage and an old age home based in thoraipakkam - Anna Fathima Child Welfare centre. the organisation houses about 150 orphan children and 35 old people. the organisation is in need of funds for basic upkeep of the property and building new section in the kitchen and residential facilities. This month, the club undertook the responsibility to reinforce the boundary wall, ensuring a big safe entry gate and building a road insde the property. The toilet doors were also replaced and the walls were painted.this would provide a safe and secure environment to the inmates of the organisation. the projects have been planned in phases and would be undertaken as and when the funds will be available for the same.
