CPR - BLS Training - Series 14
The Annettes Club of Chennai Bharathi successfully executed the 14th Series of Time to Save Lives (BLS/ CPR Training) at Childrens Garden Sec. School, Mylapore. Over 120 students participated and received the Certified Life Saver Certificate.
The session was led by Dr. Pragadish, Department of Emergency Medicine, Kauvery Hospitals. We covered basic first aid measures during emergencies, injuries. We also learnt to identify heart attacks and stroke episodes and first line of action. This was followed by hands on CPR training.
The students were highly enthusiastic and participated in the hands-on training. We wholeheartedly thank Ms. Latha Jeevagan, the coordinator of NSS, the principal, Mrs. Lakshmi Kanthan, the correspondent, Mrs. Shakuthala, and the entire management for their hospitality and for allowing us to host this event at their premises.
This event occurred in the presence of Annette Aditya Srinivas, President of Rotary Chennai Bharathi, Rtn. Dr. Jayashree, PE Rtn. Nisreen Madraswala and it was a pleasure to have the presence of our new prospective member, Jumana.
