100 TREE SAPLINGS DISTRIBUTION
Namma Kalacharam Series has been happening every month to throw the spotlight on traditional Indian Art forms.
This series aimed to raise awareness of Godhana to support Sadhana Goshala and the use of eco-friendly products to protect nature.
As it was New Year?s Eve, the Rotary Club of Chennai Bharathi chose a holistic approach to honor the guests and artists. The eco-friendly pooja items and 100 grams of pure cow ghee sponsored by Kanaga Dhenu Dairy farms were hand-packed with hand-woven palm baskets. These baskets are made by villagers in a village near Tiruvallur. Sixty eco-friendly hampers were distributed to all the guests and artists.
Also, to carry forward the go-green mission, we distributed 100 saplings to all the guests and artists.
