DISTRIBUTION OF ECO FRIENDLY GIFTS
Namma Kalacharam Series has been happening every month to throw the spotlight on traditional Indian Art forms.
Series 6 of Namma Kalacharam - Vitala Dharshan by Thapas Cultural Foundation happened on 31st Dec.
This series aimed to raise awareness of Godhana to support Sadhana Goshala and the use of eco-friendly products to protect nature.�
As it was New Year?s Eve, the Rotary Club of Chennai Bharathi chose a holistic approach to honor the guests and artists.� The eco-friendly pooja items and 100 grams of pure cow ghee sponsored by Kanaga Dhenu Dairy farms were hand-packed with hand-woven palm baskets. These baskets are made by villagers in a village near Tiruvallur. Sixty eco-friendly hampers were distributed to all the guests and artists.
