Rotary Club of Chennai Bharathi kickstarted the new calendar year with a wonderful community service project. This was also to reinforce the usage of eco-friendly products?this initiative by our president-elect, Rtn. Nisreen Madraswala was done on January 1, 2024.
Funds were collected from 10 donors who purchased these environmentally friendly straws, and the volunteers distributed them amongst the tender coconut sellers across various towns in Chennai. Forty tender coconut vendors benefited from this. This cost Rs. 4000/-
