PASUMAIYUDAN SEERATTUVOM MEGA TREE PLANTATION
Rotary Club of Chennai Bharathi and 21 participating clubs of district 3232, together in association with SEERAKKU, organized “PASUMAIYUDAN SEERATTUVOM”, a mega tree plantation at the farmers land in Thanipoondi village, near Gummidipoondi on November 25, 2023.
This collective effort was beautiful and executed today at the farm. It was a blissful experience to be there on the farmers land on a rainy day. We had the wonderful experience of planting teak, mahogany, and sandalwood trees on farmers lands. The team planted a total of 1000 trees, which cost Rs. 50,000/- on the whole at the rate of Rs. 50/ tree.
