Dinner Plate Set for Waves Home for Mentally Challenged
Our club donated 120 plate sets for Waves Home for the mentally challenged located at Thiruvallur. Our club member Rtn. Vivek sponsored this project for his birthday on Nov 4th. The plate set contained a Lunch/ Dinner plate, a Tumbler, and a Cup. The recipients were very happy to receive the new plates and their joy was expressed through verbal and physical actions. This home takes care of mentally ill patients who have been brought here by their families that cannot provide the special care needed. This project also coincides with this years RI focus area of Mental Health.
