International Peace Day & Gandhi Jayanthi Celebra
As part of the week-long International Peace Day celebrations, AIWC Schools (WIA), in association with the Rotary E-Club of Chennai Shakthi, organized a special program on 26th September 2025.
The event featured a pictorial display of Mahatma Gandhiji’s life, highlighting key moments from his childhood to his role in India’s freedom struggle. Students shared reflections on Gandhiji’s principles of truth, non-violence, simplicity, and peace, linking them to the ideals of International Peace Day.
Secretary Ms. Kannaki Prabakaran and teachers addressed the gathering, inspiring students to adopt Gandhiji’s values in daily life. The session concluded with a Peace Pledge affirming commitment to harmony and service.
