ANNETTES CPR TRAINING SERIES 12 - LADY ANDAL HOUSE OF CHILDREN

Annettes Club of Rotary Chennai Bharathi executed their *12th series of signature projects, time to save lives?*. The first aid/ CPR and basic life support training was conducted at the Madras Seva Sadan, Chetpet. The students and staff from ?Lady Andal House of Children and Sir M. Venkatasubbarao School, T. Nagar, participated in this interactive session. Students had the opportunity to get hands-on training with the most essential life-saving skills. Mr. Anwer from the Apollo Hospital patiently trained the students and explained the difference between heart attack and cardiac arrest. He enlightened the audience with the first aid techniques for choking, burns, snake bites, and dog bites. He then gave a demo of CPR for adults and infants. One hundred students and staff actively participated in this session. The students also had the opportunity to exhibit their talents by chanting the Vedam and presenting beautiful musical tracks. This occurred in the presence of the president of RC Chennai, Bharathi Rtn. Dr. Jayashree Kadambi, Club Secretary Sujatha, Rtn. Mangala Jayachandran, Annette president Akhil Srinivas, Ant. Aditya Srinivas and the principal, Mrs. Shanthi. We express our gratitude to Rtn: Mangala Jayachandran, our club RYLA Chairman, for being an instrument in organizing this event. We express our sincere appreciation to Anwer for his tireless effort in providing the training to our students and the entire team of Apollo Hospitals for their consistent support. We thank the whole school management for their hospitality and for allowing us to host this event.
