Pammal Sankara Orange Vision Center Tirumazhisai
The Pammal Sankara Orange Vision Center at Thirumazhisai was inaugurated on 10th April 2022 as part of a Global Grant Project (GG2016783). The Primary Club for this initiative was the Rotary Club of Madras Central Adithya, in collaboration with the International Partner Club, the Rotary Club of Novena, Singapore.
For the Rotary Year 2025, the Vision Center at Thirumazhisai examined a total of 128 patients during September 2025. Among these:
46 patients were identified with refractive errors, and appropriate spectacles were prescribed.
78 patients were diagnosed with cataract conditions, and suitable follow-up care was recommended.
This initiative continues to provide valuable eye care services to the community, aligned with Rotary’s mission of service above self.
