BREXIT - THE BEGGAR RAHABILITATION PROGRAM
The Beggar Rehabilitation Program – RCMC, in partnership
with an NGO, provides First aid to mentally disturbed / orphaned persons on the
streets, cleaned, given change of clothes, reported to the police station – and the
taken to the nearest Government home. Wherever possible, the persons origins
are traced and united with their families.
During the Rotary year Jul 22 to Jun 23, 1090 people were rescued from the
streets – out of which 215 have been reunited with their families.
