HEALTH CAMP FOR STUDENTS AND TEACHERS
Rotary Club of Chennai Bharathi in collaboration with Rotary Club of Madras North and MGM Health care conducted a health camp on September 8, 2023, in RBANC HIGHER. SECONDARY SCHOOL, PUDUPPET. The following were conducted during the camp: height, weight, BMI and nutrition consulting, vision screening, and dental screening were conducted for 400 school students. Vision screening was also done for 32 staff of the school. Around 20 medical professionals came to perform these tests.
The schools trustee, Rtn, held this camp. J. Suresh from Rotary Club Madras North, President of Rotary Club of Chennai Bharathi Rtn. Dr. Jayashree Kadambi, Rtn. Mary Amutha, Director for CS Health, RC Madras North, Rtn. Manohar, Chairman for camps and disease prevention, RI District 3232. The camp was well received, and the school has requested many more exciting sessions in the future. All is well that ends. We sincerely thank our community health director, Rtn. Shruti Shambavi for this initiative and Rtn. Mary Amutha for coordinating with the school to make this event a success. We thank Mr. Ulaganathan and Mr. Sivaram from MGM for coordinating the camp. This was entirely possible only with the presence of all the medical staff and the hospitality extended by the school management.
