CPR TRAINING SERIES 11 - MD. SATHAK COLLEGE
*TIME TO SAVE LIVES ? SIGNATURE PROJECT, SERIES 11*
The annettes club of the Rotary Club of Chennai Bharathi executed the signature project, Time to Save Lives, 11th series, with great zeal. This CPR/ BLS training at the Mohammed Sathak College of Arts and Science was exceptional. The NSS team of the college gave a royal welcome with a band at the arrival of the members of RC Chennai Bharathi ( ANNETTES PRESIDENT AKHIL SRINIVAS, RCCB PRESIDENT RTN. DR. JAYASHREE KADAMBI, CLUB SECRETARY RTN. SUJATHA . S, RTN. RAJESWARI DURAIPANDIAN, DIRECTOR VOCATIONAL SERVICE), ANT. ADITYA SRINIVAS and the Chief Guest, Rtn. Chandrashekar. T.P. , chairman - organ and blood donation, RI DISRTICT 3232
The Apollo team, led by Mr. Mohan Raj, conducted an extremely interactive session that covered all the details of first aid, choking, cardiac arrest, heart attack, and CPR/BLS TRAINING. The team gave a live demo, and student volunteers had a great opportunity to volunteer for some hands-on experience.
This time, a new element of the Ambulance tour was added for the first time in the history of District 3232. The students and teachers had the opportunity to tour the ambulance. The Apollo paramedics explained the uses of types of equipment inside the ambulance. This allowed the students to relate to the training they had.
It was very kind of the college management to honor the president of RC Chennai Bharathi, Annettes club of Chennai Bharathi, and the chief guest, Rtn. Chandrashekar.
Five hundred students and 50 teaching staff attended the training. We now have 1500 life savers.

As a part of the literacy month, RC Chennai Bharathi had the privilege to honor the principal, Dr. Meghanathan, with ?THE BEST PRINCIPAL AWARD 2023, the vice principal, Dr. Aysha, with the BEST VICE PRINCIPAL AWARD 2023, and BEST TEACHER AWARD TO DR. RASOOL BEGUM.
We also honored the Apollo paramedics with ?BEST PARAMEDIC AWARD 2023 for their bravery and tireless efforts towards society.
We wholeheartedly thank the management and staff of Mohammed Sathak College for their hospitality and support towards the event. We thank the Apollo hospital for their consistent support in providing services.
