Mega Multi Speciality Health Camp
The Rotary Club of Madras Connemara in Collaboration with Omayal Achi Community Health Centre, Arakampakkam supported by Indian Dental Association and MN Eye Hospital organised a Mega Multispecialty health Camp on 16.09.24, Saturday to screen and provide health services for General health, Eye Health, Dental Health, Mental Health, Child Health and Womens Health. The Total beneficiaries for the camp was 186+.
The distribution of beneficiaries are outlined below:
1. Pediatrics - 14 (major complaints poor hygiene and nutritional deficiencies)
2. Womens Health: cervical and breast cancer screening -37
3. Mental wellness -8 ( 2 referred to SCARF)
4. Dental screening - 58,
5. Eye screening -83 ( cataract adviced 16 however willing for cataract surgery - 13, glass adviced -14, ordered - 10, pterygium advice -4, RTH -21 and normal - 9)
6. General Health: 186+.
