Independence Day celebration with Malai Kuravar / Acrobatics Community
On Independence Day, Rivierans celeberated by giving back to the Society.
We started the event by hoisting the flag by the Charter president Rtn. Asha Daniel. President Rtn. Dr. E. Kalaichezhian, Club secretary Rtn. Murali Krishna Raj , Chairman Public Image, Rtn. Vijay Vishwa, joint secretary, Rtn. Deepak Govindarajan, Rtn. Ezhil Bose, Rtn. Umamaheshwari, Rtn. Issac Inbaraj of Rotary Club of Chennai Riviera attended the program along with the Irular community members.
President Rtn. Dr. Kalaichezhian gave a very motivating speech and assured the community members that we would give them assistance to fulfill their needs.
We honoured Mrs. Shanthi, a social worker, who coordinated with the club secretary Rtn. Muralikrishna Raj and also helped us find this group of economically weak community.
It was a beautiful way to celebrate Independence day.
