ECO WALK- PALLIKARNAI MARSH LAND (Joint Project - RCC-KK Nagar/ALANDUR)- Organized by RCC- RIVIERA
Eco Walk was so interesting and in a way therapeutic.
It ignites the mind to think more about our ecosystem and how we can consciously move forward in making small changes in the way we live. We learnt about different birds, insects, butterflies, dragon flies, flora and fauna. How the dirty water that flows form our drains into the marsh land is made fresh by the plants , grass around it. How different birds migrate, how they catch their food.. it was so interesting and the time went by too quickly.
We learnt that we need to have better relationship with the environment around us by observing how different species live, how we can take care of the environment, how important it is for all insects to live, about climate change etc.
Excellent project with KK Nagar and Alandur club members on International Friendship day.
