HPVax Awareness Session
On 5 August 2025, we had the opportunity to conduct a HPVax awareness session for the teachers of Chintadripet Kalyanam Girls Higher Secondary School, one of the Interact schools under the RCM fold. The aim was simple yet important, to share clear, practical information about Human Papillomavirus (HPV), its connection to cervical cancer, and how vaccination can help prevent it. The session was designed to be interactive and was attended by around 24 teachers who made the session truly engaging with their questions, reflections, and personal observations. Dr. Sangeetha Viswanathan spoke about what HPV is, how it spreads, why prevention matters, and addressed common myths that often cause confusion.
