Setup a Screening Centre and Upgraded an existing Operation theatre with Operation Table, Surgical microscope and surgical equipment to cater to Head and Neck Cancer patients
Rotary Club of Chennai Thiruvanmiyur at a cost of ₹ 43 lakhs Setup a Screening Centre and Upgraded an existing Operation theatre with Operation Table, Surgical microscope and surgical equipment to cater to Head and Neck Cancer patients @VHS Hospital at Tharamani on the Rajive Gandhi salai will run the Screening centre and Operation Theatre. We hope this centre to perform 20 to 50 Surgeries a month with average screening of 100 to 200 Patients a week. Thanks to our CSR partner FLEXCO steel lacing company Pvt ltd, Global partner Rotary club of Puchong, Malaysia and Rotarians who contributed from other clubs also. Rotary club of Chennai Thiruvanmiyur along with other Rotary Clubs who can partner in this project will do regular screening camps at the Living and work places of the Vulnerable Community to identify and locate these patients at early stages to cure them in time..
