Free Eye Camp
Our first community project of the year was the Free Eye camp for Metrozone helpers (maids, drivers, and facilities) conducted by Uma Eye clinic.
Rtn. Vetrivel from the District Community Health Services team graced us with his presence and provided Districts support for this endeavor and our future projects.
Total no of patients screened: 131
Total no of cataract surgery advised: 6
Total no of patients advised for glasses: 57
Of this, Uma Eye Clinic’s Vision Foundation will perform the cataract surgeries entirely free of cost and provide eyeglasses at an incredibly subsidized rate of Rs. 800. Additionally, other eye accessories will be available at an enticing 20% discount. Whats even more remarkable is that patients can utilize the counseling cards we provided to bring their family members to Vision Foundation and extend the same benefits to them.
