DEI project - Familiarising the Blind about facilities on Chennai Metro
50 visually challenged people from NGO Thai karangal were taken on the metro to familiarise them with the facilities provided for the visually challenged. HR manager for Chennai metro Mr. Rajaram was very forthcoming with information and assistance, personally accompanying the group with his staff from Egmore metro station to koyembedu and back . He explained to all about the facilities available and gave them an opportunity to experience and use them. this was followed by lunch
District DEI Chair Barbara Bedi ( past president of RCCS) was the Chief guest for the event which was also attended by many Spotlighters.
