Today our club first project starts with a cool start and big bang. Our Club sponsored one Voltas Make Refrigerator,175 litres with Stabilizer and stand to the Family Planning association of India , K K Nagar. ( Urban Care Centre - Women & Child). Rtn Mythili Muralidaran, was the Chief guest , and Special invitees Mr.Ayyasamy Deputy Director, Family welfare Department, Rtn S.Velumani ,Deputy Conservator of forests, Retd, Spoke on the Mother and Child care at FPAI Centre, K.K.Nagar. Rtn Mayuranathan, President gave a welcome speech. Rtn Thiyagarajan, co ordinated the entire program.
Rtn Venkatramanan, Rtn Semmalar sivakumar, Ann Regi Prince Raani of Rtn Johnson attended the function.
The fridge would support over 600 families in and around the centre, The centre was thankful to Rotary since it will be help them store their vaccinations and medicines which they presently unable to do.
