Tree Plantation
On July 1, 2025, the Rotary Club of Chennai Green City successfully launched three impactful community service initiatives focused on promoting environmental sustainability. As part of this effort, the club conducted Green Cover – Phase 1, a tree plantation drive at Mullai Vanam in Thirumullaivoyal. The objective of the project was to raise environmental awareness and enhance the green cover in the region. With active participation from Rotarians and volunteers from Exnora International, over 25 saplings were planted. This initiative marks the beginning of the club’s long-term environmental commitment, laying a strong foundation for future phases aimed at restoring and preserving nature for the community.
