Child Rights & Safety film screening at Seva Chakkara Childrens home
RCMC & Nalamdana jointly played "Maaya Changu" (Magic Conch) awareness film on Child Rights & Safety followed by discussion for the girl students at SEVA CHAKKARA CHILDRENS HOME. 53 girls and 3 caretakers attended and we got a great response.
This film, originally a street play produced by Nalamdana, is a major tool in explaining child protection in age appropriate manner. Certified and cleared by the Censor Board (Govt of India) it is a 40 minutes short film, also enjoys the distinction of a special commendation letter from them, citing that the film is cleared for viewing by all with adult supervision if under 12 years. No objectionable or violent abuse scenes are shown.
