SOLE (Self Organized Learning Environment) launched at Avvai Home.
This will be a full year run program led by Rtn. Nirmala from Rotary Club of Madras Coromandel.
SOLE was conceptualised by Dr Sugata Mitra and initiated as a District Literacy project RID3232
Aim unsupervised groups of children can learn anything by themselves with a computer and net work
This kind of learning can take children beyond their text books and prepare them to own responsibility for their learning
40 children from Avvai home participated. They explored and found out “Why we get tears in the eyes when we are sad”
There were different answers and every learning was appreciated
This is to help learners browse, comprehend and communicate which is the future of learning and working for today and tomorrow
