SPONSORSHIP OF TEACHERS SALARY FOR THE YEAR
Gnanodaya School, located in Venkatapuram Village, 45kms from Chennai, is dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty through education. Catering to around 176 students annually, our institution serves children from leprosy-affected families, underprivileged backgrounds, and nearby villages. We at Rotary ECR decided to support their efforts by sponsoring a teachers salary for the whole 1 year.
vision - Integrating and enabling children from leprosy impacted families to live with dignity and equity.
Mission - Enable children from leprosy impacted families to enrol in college through high quality integrated formal education.
The school, encompassing Kindergarten to 10th standard, and a hostel facility for around 50 students from leprosy colonies, orphans, and underprivileged families. The school is recognised by the Government but not Government aided school (not financially supported by the Govt.).
