Smart Vision Glass distributed - Disability Foundation
On March 5, 2024, the Rotary Club of Chennai Towers organized a significant event dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with partial sight. The club distributed smart vision glasses (SVG) to 23 beneficiaries, empowering them to lead independent lives.
The chief guest for the event was Mrs Krithika Kumar Quintal, honorary general secretary of Madras Seva Sadan, who shared the dais with Mr Karuppaiah, director of the Tamil Nadu differently abled trust. The event commenced with a prayer song by Ms. Nivedhitha, one of the beneficiaries, setting a poignant tone for the day. Following this, Rtn Rukmani delivered an enlightening talk on the importance and functionality of the smart vision glasses.
The distribution ceremony filled the room with joy and gratitude as each beneficiary received their glasses, marking a pivotal moment in their journey towards independence.
