SAVE OUR ANCIENT CIVILIZATION - LAUNCH
RC Chennai Bharathis Signature Project - Namma Kalacharam is a crowd funding initiative aimed at raising money to support 4 ongoing service projects for the year 23-24.
One of the 4 projects is Save Our Ancient Civilisation - where we aim to support goodness of ancient cultural practices, education system and lifestyle methods in this new age of technological take over.
The project was launched by First Lady Shobana Ravi, Mrs. Chitra Madhavan - a renowned historian, Rtn Swarnalatha Mahesh (Chairman for Peace Building) , and President Rtn Jayashree. Mrs. Chitra was then honoured by Rtn Gayathri (Community Service Director, RCCB) for her support.
The first project of the initiative is donation of wooden holder for scripture and ancient literature, for students and teachers at Veda Patashala, Kumbakonam. The event to raise funds for the same is to take place on July 15, 2023.
